School of Liberal Arts and Sciences

About
Encompassing a robust combination of traditional Liberal Arts and pre-professional programs, the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SLAS) aspires to provide an exceptional educational experience grounded in the "Applied Liberal Arts." Students will benefit from the critical thinking, writing, and research skills fundamental to a Liberal Arts education.
They'll also get many opportunities: undergraduate research, community-integrated education, field schools, and internships. These tools will help them hone the practical skills and experiences that will enable and empower them to excel professionally and personally.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has six departments offering 20 undergraduate programs and two graduate programs, including a Master of Public Administration. Our warm and caring faculty will inspire and transform you inside and outside the classroom. The SLAS landing page has more information about the degrees and programs each department offers (or you can request information or apply).
