Anthropology
Anthropology is the study of what makes us human. Dive deeper with a Flagler College major that lets you choose your anthropology subfield. Forge your own path by tailoring your minor to enhance your major. Get hands-on experience with an anthropology internship. And learn in small classes taught by caring faculty in the heart of historic downtown, just minutes from the beach.
Program Requirements
Program Requirements
Anthropology is split into three subfields:
- Archaeology
- Physical anthropology
- Cultural anthropology
In each one, you'll learn theories as well as research methods. You'll apply them to modern problems and interpret life in the past. You'll get a bachelor's degree in Anthropology after completing your major coursework. Every Flagler student also completes the college's unique and distinctive Core general education requirements.
A minor in Anthropology lets you choose a subfield of anthropology. You can customize your program to complement majors in many other disciplines. Students with the minor must take a minimum of 18 hours in Anthropology.
