Flagler College was named a “Tree Campus” by the Arbor Day Foundation. As a Tree Campus, Flagler will participate in the Tree Campus Higher Education program, with the goal of supporting a greener and healthier campus environment. This designation is just one of many ways that Flagler continues to pursue environmental stewardship, sustainability and community engagement efforts. 

The Crisp Ellert Art Museum and Flagler College are pleased to welcome artists and collaborators Katie Hargrave and Meredith Laura Lynn back to campus for their exhibition Bad Outdoorsmen. Curated by former director Julie Dickover, the show will be on view from Jan. 20 through April 19, 2025. One of the artists, Meredith Laura Lynn will lead a walkthrough of the exhibition on Friday, February 7th from 5 to 8 p.m. during the First Friday Artwalk. This event is free and open to the public.

During the Fall 2024 semester, one of Flagler’s Social Entrepreneurship courses introduced students to real-world applications of business models that prioritize both profit and positive impact.

Kip Taisey is the Tom Kenan Associate Professor of Music at Flagler College, where he directs the Music and Musical Theatre Programs in the Department of Performing Arts. He joined Flagler in the fall of 2015 after a decade-long professional acting career, including five years in New York City.

In a departure from traditional capstone projects, two honors students from Flagler’s Hospitality & Tourism Management (HTM) program set a new precedent for collaborative academic endeavors at the College.
