August 25, 2025
Welcome to a new academic year, Saints! Whether you’re just beginning your Flagler journey or returning for another exciting semester, the first week of classes sets the tone.

The Center for Advising and Core Experience (CACE) is here to help you start strong.

Here’s what you need to know, broken down by where you are in your college journey:

🦁For First-Year Students

Starting college is a big deal—but you’re not doing it alone. Here are five quick reminders to help you navigate your first week:

1. The add/drop deadline is Sept. 2 at 5:00 P.M. ⏰
Want to change your schedule? Contact your CACE advisor or stop by their office on the 3rd floor of Proctor Library. Advisors are happy to talk it through and help you make changes.

2. Talk to a CACE Advisor if you want to adjust your fall schedule. 🗣️
You can schedule an appointment with your advisor here, or drop by the CACE office during the day—no appointment needed. Advisors will be ready to help, even if you just have a quick question.

3. Double-check your course locations before classes begin. ✅
Make sure you know where to go! Log in to My Flagler > Quick Links > My Schedule > View Details to see room numbers and locations.

4. Visit CACE and write a letter to your future self! 📩
Swing by the 3rd floor of the library during open hours and write a letter to be delivered back to you at the end of the year. It’s a great way to reflect and set your intentions for the year ahead.

5. Take a deep breath—you’ve got this. 💨
Really. We’re proud of you already, and we’re here for you every step of the way.
