Flagler College offers a major leading to a bachelor's degree and a minor. Flagler students can also get a Spanish Certificate that establishes their mastery of the language. We encourage hands-on learning through internships and travel. You can put the skills you learn here to work abroad or at home, where an estimated 63.7 million people—19.1 % of the U.S. population—are of Hispanic origin.
In your major or minor, you'll learn advanced Spanish grammar, composition, and conversation. You'll also discover a deep appreciation of the culture, heritage, and history of Spanish-speaking countries. We offer many vibrant study abroad programs that let you immerse yourself in the languages and cultures of places like Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Peru.
