Are you interested in developing your skills in another language while also learning the complex histories around those languages and cultures? Our European Studies minor is a great way to take that journey. Take part in an interdisciplinary (“integrated”) minor that coordinates foreign language and humanities courses into a coherent and rewarding academic offering that will equip you with the critical skills needed to navigate the challenges of a globalized world from linguistic, political, historical, and cultural perspectives. This is your chance to explore Europe’s dynamic past and present, and its role in global history, politics, and culture, while shaping your professional and personal future.
Students can also apply these credit hours toward the French Certificate or the Spanish certificate/minor or major. By adding this minor, you'll take part in at least 21 credit hours worth of learning and history.
