Flagler College students helped kick off COM Week 2026 on Monday with a lunch and learn workshop featuring communications industry leader Linda Beltran, chief communications officer for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Students interested in sports media and visual storytelling gained firsthand insight into the world of sports photography during a panel discussion at Flagler College, held as part of the College’s annual COM Week.

Flagler students got their hands in clay Tuesday afternoon during a ceramic tilemaking workshop held as part of the annual AIGA Flagler Design Week, a weeklong series of programs exploring the process, craft, and business of design.

Flagler College students stepped beyond the classroom and into the professional world of design last Friday during the final event of this year’s AIGA Design Week, traveling to Jacksonville for behind-the-scenes tours of two leading creative agencies. The day offered an immersive look into the environments, workflows, and people shaping the region’s design industry.

Students from Flagler College represented the institution at the American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference, joining participants from across the country and around the world for a week of competition, professional development, and networking.
