Flagler alumna Katie Cox was recently named among Jacksonville Business Journal’s 20 Women of Influence for her work as Vice President of Marketing at the Gator Bowl, the sixth-oldest college bowl game in the country.

When Letti Bozard graduated from Flagler College in l997, she had no idea that one day she would be tapped to be the keynote speaker at one of the College’s preeminent fundraisers. Called the Power of the Purse®, the event is sponsored by the Women of Vision Advisory Board and is designed to raise scholarship funds and increase educational opportunities for deserving women at the College.

Ambassador John Rood has been elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Flagler College and Viv Andrew Helwig, ’08, CEO of Vested Metals International was selected for the board. Rood succeeds Rick Groux ’79, who served in the role for the last three years.

William Joseph Longan, Jr. was selected for the Flagler College Board of Trustees. His first meeting as a Trustee will take place in February.

Flagler College was recently awarded the Gold Level Award for 2022 Healthiest Companies by the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC) for creating a culture of health and wellness within the organization. Award recipients were honored at the Annual First Coast Worksite Wellness Conference on June 8, 2022, at the University of North Florida.
