Flagler Earns Platinum-Level Recognition for Workplace Wellness

Flagler College has earned a 2026 Platinum Level Healthiest Company Award from the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council, marking the third consecutive year the College has received the organization’s highest level of recognition for employee wellness.

The award recognizes organizations demonstrating exceptional engagement, measurable wellness outcomes, and comprehensive employee well-being initiatives.

Representing Flagler College at this year’s award presentation were President John Delaney, Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer Kelly Toaston, Compensation and Benefits Campus Partner Hayden George, and Trustee Mark Bailey Sr.

Applications for the Healthiest Companies Awards are evaluated based on workplace wellness programs, employee offerings, and measurable wellness outcomes achieved over the previous year. Platinum-level recipients are recognized for maintainingbest-in-class wellness programs supported by institutional leadership and strategic investment in employee well-being resources. 

“At Flagler College, we believe employee well-being is foundational to a thriving campus community,” said Vice President Toaston. “Receiving Platinum-level recognition for the third consecutive year reflects our continued commitment to creating a workplace culture where faculty and staff feel supported, valued, and empowered to thrive both personally and professionally.” 

Flagler College offers employees a wide range of health and wellness resources designed to support multiple dimensions of well-being, including physical, mental and emotional, social, career, and financial wellness.  

Available resources include the Employee Assistance Program, employee discount programs, paid time off, access to the College’s Fitness Center and Fitness Room, Zumba and yoga classes, healthy dining options, telehealth services, virtual consultations with dietitians and retirement or financial consultants, annual health fairs with biometric screenings, ergonomic workspace accommodations, and wellness-focused employee engagement initiatives. 

The College’s wellness efforts are further strengthened through its partnership with The Bailey Group, led by President Mark Bailey Sr., which serves as a trusted consulting partner to Flagler College and the Human Resources Division in the areas of employee benefits, wellness, and employee engagement initiatives. 

Flagler’s dedicated support team from The Bailey Group includes Celia Pancetta, senior account executive; Lacey Lewis, senior account manager; and Cheyenne Kessler, consultant for Vitality and Wellbeing Solutions. Together, the team provides strategic consultation, industry best practices, and hands-on support to help strengthen the College’s wellness and benefits offerings for employees. 

Through the partnership and collaboration with Flagler College’s Human Resources Division, the College has continued expanding wellness education and resources, enhancing employee engagement initiatives, strengthening wellbeing programming, and developing innovative wellness strategies designed to support faculty and staff across campus. 

The Bailey Group’s continued partnership has helped Flagler sustain its recognition as one of Northeast Florida’s healthiest workplaces while advancing the College’s commitment to building a people-centered culture focused on employee wellbeing. 

Flagler has been a member of the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council for several years and has continued expanding wellness opportunities and resources available to faculty and staff across campus. 

Established in 2008, the council works to improve the health of the First Coast community by supporting workplace wellness through education, training, networking opportunities, and shared resources for organizations across Northeast Florida.
