Flagler College Receives $250,000 Pledge from A.D. Davis Construction Company to Support Restoration of Historic Ponce Hall

Flagler College is honored to announce a $250,000 pledge from A.D. Davis Construction Company dedicated to the restoration of the iconic Ponce Hall.

This generous commitment will support critical preservation efforts for the historic building, ensuring that Ponce Hall remains a central landmark and learning environment for generations of Flagler students.

“The restoration of Ponce Hall is essential to maintaining Flagler College’s historical legacy and architectural beauty,” said Laura Stevenson Dumas, Vice President, Chief of Staff. “A.D. Davis Construction’s enduring support underscores their dedication to our College’s mission and to preserving this beloved campus space.”

A.D. Davis Construction has been a dedicated partner of the College since 1981. Their leadership in the Ponce Restoration Project continues this legacy, helping to preserve and strengthen the historic structure while honoring its original architectural character. As part of their long-standing commitment, the company funded the naming of the Davis Reception Room in Ponce Hall, creating a lasting tribute to their enduring investment in the campus and the surrounding community.

Davis Construction. “Over the years, I’ve had the blessing of working on the renovation of Ponce Hall with my grandfather, my brothers, my cousins, and my sons.
