This new endowed scholarship will support students who demonstrate a passion for mathematics, providing critical financial assistance to those dedicated to advancing their education in this essential field.
“The Daniels Family Endowed Scholarship will have a lasting impact on our mathematics students, enabling them to pursue their studies with added support and encouragement,” said Dr. Carrie Grant, Chair of the Mathematics Department at Flagler College. “Jon and Jacqui’s commitment to fostering talent in mathematics is deeply appreciated and will inspire countless students for years to come.”
Reflecting on the significance of this gift, Jon Daniels, a Lewis-Wiley Scholar who graduated with a degree in Mathematics, shared, “As a Flagler alumnus and a beneficiary of the College’s commitment to academic excellence, I am thrilled to give back in a way that supports future mathematicians. Mathematics has shaped my career and perspective in profound ways, and Jacqui and I hope this scholarship motivates others to explore the limitless potential of a math-driven education.”
Since 2010, the Daniels family has been dedicated supporters of Flagler College, previously funding the Daniels Family Annual Scholarship for Mathematics in 2021.
