The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum and Flagler College look forward to our bi-annual exhibition of work by B.F.A. and B.A. candidates in the Department of Visual Art. The exhibition will be on view during the museum’s regular business hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., from December 1 to 11, 2025. We will host a closing reception on Thursday, December 11, from 5-8 p.m. Additionally, the Graphic Design, BA Portfolio, and BFA Thesis Exhibition will be on view on Thursday, December 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Brown Innovation Center (50 Sevilla Street). Both events are free and open to the public.
Over the course of the semester, the B.F.A and B.A. students have created a singular body of work, or group of artworks, synthesizing the foundational, methodological , and conceptual frameworks in which they’ve learned during their time in the Department of Visual Art. This capstone class provides an important early step on their paths as working artists. This semester, these courses were guided by Leslie Robison, Professor of Art and Dean of the School of Creative Arts and Letters.
B.F.A. candidates Haily Barron and Emily Lacour will exhibit paintings, sculptures, and installations that consider a range of topics.
The B.A. portfolio exhibition will feature artworks spanning various materials, including painting, drawing, textiles, and printmaking, by artists Ellie Bowman, Clare Cassidy, Laurel Koschal, Jordan Outland, AJ Ritchie, Shannon Song, and Shannon Speakman.
The B.F.A. and B.A. students in graphic design will present their portfolios created over the course of the semester under the instruction of Diana Lodi, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design. The B.F.A. portfolio exhibition will feature work by designers Madeleine Glassford, Alicia Sanfilippo, Brooke Socha, and Viv Sweet. The B.A. portfolio candidates include Brandi Fitch, Madeleine Glassford, Alex Hochstaetter, and Aliyah Molina.
