Rotunda Christmas Tree serves as a longtime symbol of Flagler's holiday spirit

The Rotunda of Ponce de Leon Hall is a magnificently ornate and spacious focal point of Flagler College’s campus. And every holiday season since 1985, the College has sought to decorate the space with an equally spectacular Christmas Tree that serves as a constant symbol of Flagler’s holiday spirit for students, employees, and alumni alike.

Faculty Spotlight: Barbara Blonder

For almost 20 years, Professor Barbara Blonder has been a beloved faculty member of Flagler’s Natural Sciences Department. During her time at Flagler, Blonder has left a lasting impact on the College. She has served as Director of Undergraduate Research, Chair of the Faculty Senate, and was an instrumental figure in establishing the Coastal Environmental Science major. In 2020, Blonder extended her impact into the local community, being elected as a Commissioner for the City of St. Augustine.

Flagler professor builds initiative to digitally document St. Augustine history

When Associate Professor of History, Kelly Enright, first started teaching at Flagler ten years ago, her hope was that one day she could find a hands-on approach to educating her students about the past. Passionate about the many stories St. Augustine’s past holds, she was inspired to develop a way for her students to creatively engage with this history.
