A new pathway for global academic exchange was formalized this week as Flagler College signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany’s Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.

Owen McCaul, a Champion for the Blind and Visually-Impaired
When Owen McCaul, '85, was named chair of the Board of Trustees at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, he not only continued his role as an active leader for the blind and visually-impaired. For the St. Augustine public school for Pre-K through high school students, he also was the first blind or visually-impaired person to serve as board chair and the first FSDB alumnus (class of 1982).

Visitor Services Coordinator Jenna Stickley has worked in many different areas during her career. But when her daughter enrolled at Flagler in 2019 and they found their dream house on the St. John's River, she decided to pursue a career with the College.
Flagler College Giving Challenge to benefit students
Flagler College will launch its annual Roar and Raise Giving Challenge fundraiser on April 7 and 8 to benefit scholarships, academic programs, athletic teams, student organizations and other programs outlined in the College’s strategic plan. The goal this year is Flagler’s most ambitious yet– 1,200 donors in just 2 days to unlock a $25,000 challenge grant.

St. Augustine writer and Flagler College faculty member Kim Bradley’s debut short fiction collection, Spillway, will be released by Stephen F. Austin State University Press on April 15, 2022.
