A new pathway for global academic exchange was formalized this week as Flagler College signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany’s Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.

The psychology major at Flagler has become one of the College's largest programs as the field continues to grow in popularity with students. Part of that rise, according to Assistant Professor of Psychology Tracy Litzinger is how the field continues to expand beyond traditional psychology.

Our Flagler family got a bit bigger on Friday, January 14th. In true Flagler fashion, we welcomed the new Saints to campus with a week full of events to help them get familiar with their new community.

When Owen McCaul, '85, was named chair of the Board of Trustees at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, he not only continued his role as an active leader for the blind and visually-impaired. For the St. Augustine public school for Pre-K through high school students, he also was the first blind or visually-impaired person to serve as board chair and the first FSDB alumnus (class of 1982).

Visitor Services Coordinator Jenna Stickley has worked in many different areas during her career. But when her daughter enrolled at Flagler in 2019 and they found their dream house on the St. John's River, she decided to pursue a career with the College.

Flagler College will launch its annual Roar and Raise Giving Challenge fundraiser on April 7 and 8 to benefit scholarships, academic programs, athletic teams, student organizations and other programs outlined in the College’s strategic plan. The goal this year is Flagler’s most ambitious yet– 1,200 donors in just 2 days to unlock a $25,000 challenge grant.

As the sun rose on the morning of Move-In Day, the campus air buzzed with excitement and anticipation.

A select group of student leaders from the campus community was inducted into the Flagler College Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa on Feb. 3.

J-Term was short but sweet to our Saints, athletes, and newcomers! J-Term began on Monday, January 3rd and was jampacked with events, basketball games, and more before it wrapped up on Friday, January 14th.

St. Augustine writer and Flagler College faculty member Kim Bradley’s debut short fiction collection, Spillway, will be released by Stephen F. Austin State University Press on April 15, 2022.
