Legacy has deep roots, and the Ringhaver family planted theirs in the earliest days of Flagler College.

Since Flagler College’s earliest days, Ponce Hall has been a fixture in the lives of the Davis family.

Gary Johnson serves as Flagler College’s dedicated patrolling officer and liaison with the St. Augustine Police Department (SAPD).

Since 1987, Darien Andreu has been more than an English professor at Flagler College; she’s been a revered mentor, author, historian, and thoughtful steward of St. Augustine’s Minorcan heritage.

Shelly Haser, Ph.D., is the Director of the Lifelong Learning Institute at Flagler College and a Professor in the Education Department since January 2023. She has been in higher education for over 25 years as a faculty member and administrator at three universities and Flagler College. She received her degrees from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, the College of William and Mary, and West Virginia University.

Flagler College has taken another major step in transforming the people, places and programs of the institution. A new professorship, funded by Viki Freeman ’74, has been established, and will advance faculty research and teaching within the College’s Department of Education.
