Two convocation ceremonies welcomed Flagler’s class of 2026 to campus Tuesday.

Family members beamed with pride and the air was filled with excitement as more than 500 graduates processed into the St. Augustine Amphitheater to the familiar sound of pomp and circumstance on Monday, May 9th.

This past fall, new students began taking classes in Flagler College’s newly launched Core Curriculum, which replaced the old General Education program.

Before he arrived at Flagler College, sophomore Peter Mankin said he was worried his adjustment from high school to college would be especially difficult.

Flagler College continuously seeks to foster a transformative learning experience, cultivated through a campus community where everyone is treated with the love, dignity, and respect that comes with being part of the “Flagler Family.” Through that community, the College seeks to prepare students to be ethical citizens, problem-solvers, and builders of communities of their own.

Flagler College seniors gathered for an intimate ceremony recognizing how far they’ve come, and their path into the future during the Fall 2022 Baccalaureate.

When Flagler College’s Missing Voices Project was founded in 2019, Director Justin Forbes had a vision of empowering communities of faith to become better equipped in welcoming youth on the margins.

Flagler’s Math & Technology Department invited alumnus and Fortune 100 c-suite executive, Jon Daniels, to explain his path after Flagler and give advice about professional opportunities waiting for students after graduating with a math degree.

In recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Flagler’s Sport Management program hosted a “Women in Sport” panel last month to celebrate the accomplishments of women working in this competitive industry regionally.
