Flagler College’s Health & Wellness Department adopts an integrative approach, recognizing the crucial role of health and wellness in student success.

The Flagler College Commencement Ceremony was especially momentous for the Class of 2024 who emerged from high school during a global pandemic. For most, it was the first time they’d donned a cap and gown or crossed a graduation stage.

Henry Flagler began construction on the Hotel Ponce de Leon in 1885, the same year St. Augustine’s Florida School for the Deaf and Blind (FSDB) was established.

This year, a dynamic first-year student is revitalizing Flagler College’s prestigious Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) chapter, originally established on campus in 1983.

A group of Florida educators recently joined Flagler College’s Institute for Classical Education on a journey through Spain, where they encountered its ancient contributions to classical learning that are still alive today.

Having only been at Flagler for two years, sophomore Jacob Goldman has managed to make a name for himself on campus as a successful entrepreneur. 

Flagler College’s Sophomore High Impact Practice (FlagSHIP) aims to develop students’ global literacy through immersive, transformative experiences at home and abroad.

Joe Fioramonti, an assistant professor of graphic design at Flagler College, said he’s lucky enough to work two dream jobs, and teaching college students is one of them.

During the Fall 2024 semester, one of Flagler’s Social Entrepreneurship courses introduced students to real-world applications of business models that prioritize both profit and positive impact.

Senior Lilly Dietz’s passion for understanding the problems homeless people face began well before she took Flagler’s “Global Issues and the Pulitzer Center” course, where she earned a prestigious Pulitzer Fellowship to explore the topic further.
