As the College’s largest annual fundraising event, Roar and Raise brought together alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends from across the world for 48 hours of collective philanthropy. This year’s challenge marked a significant milestone as the final Roar and Raise of the Flagler Forward campaign, culminating six years of coordinated investment in the College’s future.
“Roar and Raise continues to showcase the extraordinary generosity and spirit of the Flagler Family,” said Kristy Myers, Vice President of Institutional Advancement. “This year’s event was especially meaningful as we came together to finish the Flagler Forward campaign strong. Not only have we transformed every corner of our campus, but we have laid a tremendous foundation for the continued success of our students.”
Since its launch in 2019, Roar and Raise has grown into a powerful tradition, uniting the Saints community around Flagler’s student-centered mission and generating critical support for initiatives like scholarships, academic programs, athletics, and campus enhancements.
In addition to personally designated gifts, donors could choose from a variety of matches and challenges designed to amplify giving and encourage engagement across campus and beyond. From dollar-for-dollar matches supporting initiatives like scholarships and facilities, to participation-based challenges aimed at parents, alumni, and athletic teams, the Flagler community successfully completed all available opportunities.
“Every gift we received is already making a profound difference,” said Myers. “The collective support we witnessed during these two days reinforces the shared commitment we all feel toward shaping the future of Flagler College and delivering a truly transformative educational experience.”
