We created the finance major and finance to give you an understanding of global financial markets. You'll learn to make informed financial management decisions. You'll also learn about the risk and return of investments. You'll get practical knowledge, too.
In the Investments course, you'll manage a $1 million virtual portfolio. You'll learn to invest in stocks, bonds, options, commodities, and foreign exchange futures. In Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, you'll perform macro-economic, industry, and security analyses. This project will teach you to see a firm’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
