State Authorization for Online Programs and Courses

NC-SARA Participation Seal

Flagler College must comply with state regulations concerning the delivery of online courses and programs to out-of-state students. Flagler College was approved by the Postsecondary Reciprocal Distance Education Coordinating Council of the Florida Department of Education to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), which is intended to ease the workload of institutions seeking authorization to deliver online programs and courses in other states.

While students from most states may enroll in online programs at Flagler College there are some important limitations.  Out-of-state students interested in enrolling in a Flagler College online program or online courses should check the State Authorization webpage for more information about the states in which Flagler College is approved to offer distance education programs.

Formal Complaint Process

Students wishing to submit a complaint or grievance regarding their participation in the graduate program should contact Laura Stevenson, Vice President - Chief of Staff, at lstevenson@flagler.edu. If the student is dissatisfied with the result, the student has the right to appeal the College's decision within the institution. If the student is not satisfied with the institutional decision, the student may appeal the complaint to:
