Accreditation

 

Flagler College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate and masters degrees. Flagler College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The purpose of publishing the Commission on College's contact information is to enable interested constituents (1) to learn about the accreditation status of Flagler College and (2) to file a complaint for alleged non-compliance with a standard or requirement. Please note that normal inquiries about Flagler College, such as admissions requirements, financial aid, educational programs, and the like should be addressed directly to us and not to the Commission on Colleges office. In addition to Institutional Accreditation by SACSCOC, Flagler College’s Education program is approved by the Department of Education in the state of Florida for the preparation of teachers, and the Deaf Education Program is certified by the Council on the Education of the Deaf.

Charter

The College is chartered under the general laws of the State of Florida as a private, non-profit, and non-denominational liberal arts college with the authority to grant the full range of earned and honorary degrees. Flagler College is approved by the U.S. Department of Justice for foreign students; and approved for the training of Veterans and War Orphans by the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs.

Program Accreditation
