When Owen McCaul, '85, was named chair of the Board of Trustees at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, he not only continued his role as an active leader for the blind and visually-impaired. For the St. Augustine public school for Pre-K through high school students, he also was the first blind or visually-impaired person to serve as board chair and the first FSDB alumnus (class of 1982).

Flagler College Giving Challenge to benefit students
Flagler College will launch its annual Roar and Raise Giving Challenge fundraiser on April 7 and 8 to benefit scholarships, academic programs, athletic teams, student organizations and other programs outlined in the College’s strategic plan. The goal this year is Flagler’s most ambitious yet– 1,200 donors in just 2 days to unlock a $25,000 challenge grant.
