From press relations for her family’s business of daredevil circus performers to advocating for the men and women who bring fish from the water to our tables, Flagler alumna Lisa Wallenda Picard has been telling the story of people throughout her career.

It’s been two decades since Flagler College launched its Public Administration (PAD) program, established with the “expressed purpose of preparing individuals for leadership roles in government agencies and other organizations.”

A new pathway for global academic exchange was formalized this week as Flagler College signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany’s Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.

The psychology major at Flagler has become one of the College's largest programs as the field continues to grow in popularity with students. Part of that rise, according to Assistant Professor of Psychology Tracy Litzinger is how the field continues to expand beyond traditional psychology.

When Owen McCaul, '85, was named chair of the Board of Trustees at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, he not only continued his role as an active leader for the blind and visually-impaired. For the St. Augustine public school for Pre-K through high school students, he also was the first blind or visually-impaired person to serve as board chair and the first FSDB alumnus (class of 1982).

Visitor Services Coordinator Jenna Stickley has worked in many different areas during her career. But when her daughter enrolled at Flagler in 2019 and they found their dream house on the St. John's River, she decided to pursue a career with the College.

In launching the Alumni Innovators Speaker Series, the Brown Innovation Center (B.I.C.) is to set host Flagler alumni each semester to highlight the innovative things they are doing in their careers and philanthropic endeavors.
