This past fall, new students began taking classes in Flagler College’s newly launched Core Curriculum, which replaced the old General Education program.

Like many coastal areas, St. Augustine is familiar with the sight of eroded shorelines after a major storm. Along with destroying homes, erosion also damages vulnerable ecosystems, leaving every aspect of the coast affected by hurricanes and tropical storms.

Outdoor track and field joined lacrosse this year with its own inaugural season for men's and women's teams. Both started the Spring 2022 season at the University of Tampa Distance Classic in early March.

Flagler College hosted a one-of-a-kind tasting festival.

Visitor Services Coordinator Jenna Stickley has worked in many different areas during her career. But when her daughter enrolled at Flagler in 2019 and they found their dream house on the St. John's River, she decided to pursue a career with the College.

Director of the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, Julie Dickover joined Flagler's staff in 2010 after a decade in Los Angeles where she worked in commercial galleries and as the museum registrar with a UCLA art museum. For the more than 10 years she's been at Flagler, Dickover has overseen all elements of CEAM and worked with other campus groups and departments to foster robust programming and opportunities.

Kaelyn Thomas is the Coordinator for Student Leadership and Engagement. In this role, she provides programming for the students on campus like Harry Potter Week, movie nights, trivia nights, campus concerts, and field trips off campus.

Lucas Scotch, coordinator of marketing and communications for the Division of Continuing Education, graduated with honors from Flagler College in 2022.
