Only three months separated Jake Van Clief’s active military service from his first semester at Flagler College.

At heart, Carly Shaw said she’s an environmentalist with a particular passion for protecting coastlines like the one she grew up on in Ocean City, N.J.

“Farm to Table,” a local Sophomore High Impact Practice (FlagSHIP), recently gave Flagler College students an unmatched opportunity to explore the farm-to-table movement through interactions with regional farmers, gardeners, non-profit organizers, and chefs.

Flagler is proud to announce that the Spring 2024 anniversary issue of FLARE, the College's student-run literary and arts publication, has been awarded the "Superior" rating in the prestigious Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) contest.
