Flagler Staff Spotlight: Donn Garby

Donn Garby, assistant director of housing operations, joined the Student Affairs department in the fall of 2021. Garby is a Class of 2016 Flagler alumnus who served as SGA President during his time here. He was also the Assistant Program Director for the Campus Activities Board, Founder of the U.S. Military Veterans Club on campus, and an ambassador in the Office of Admissions among numerous other extracurricular positions held. Following his time at Flagler, Garby earned his master's degree in higher education/ higher education administration at Old Dominion University. Garby then earned his Doctor of Philosophy in higher education/ higher education administration from Rowan University.

Flagler's MLK Day of Service inspires students to give back to the local community

Senior Strategic Communications Major, Carly Hargroves, joined her peers in volunteering for multiple St. Augustine organizations on Flagler’s MLK Day of Service. Hargroves reflects on the service project she participated in and the importance of giving back to the community in honor of MLK Jr.’s legacy.

Crisp-Ellert Art Museum Announces Collaboration with Embassy of Spain to Bring Spain-based Artist and Writer Pablo Vindel to Flagler College Campus

We are pleased to announce a new collaborative initiative between the CEAM Artist Residency at Flagler College and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington D.C. In March 2022, we will jointly host and welcome to campus Valencia, Spain-based artist, and writer Pablo Vindel as one of our Spring artists-in-residence. Related programs include an artist talk on Monday, March 21 at 3 pm in the Flagler Room, located in the Ponce Building. This event is free and open to the public.
