This major donation will provide resources that support Flagler Tennis’ continued success and help sustain the Center as a premier destination for competition and training.
“As alums, Flagler College has always held a special place in our hearts, and we are proud to further our contributions to the Women’s Tennis Program,” said Brian. “Naming the space in honor of my mother, who always had such a deep love for the game, makes this gift especially meaningful to our family. We hope it both celebrates her passion and provides the meaningful resources students need to excel.”
Pollard Tennis Center was dedicated in October of 2025 following an expansion that installed new locker rooms, coaches’ offices and study spaces for student-athletes. The enhancements support one of Flagler College’s most accomplished programs, as women’s tennis has captured four consecutive Peach Belt Conference (PBC) titles while men’s tennis has claimed three and advanced all the way to the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship match. Together, they reflect a tradition of athletic excellence that continues to define Flagler Tennis.
“This generous gift from Brian and Michelle displays their deep commitment to Flagler College and our student-athletes,” said Jud Damon, Director of Athletics at Flagler College. “The support provided through this naming opportunity will allow our coaches to better develop each player’s skills and foster a winning culture. We are so grateful for the Wilsons’ investment in our program.”
Brian Wilson, a member of the Flagler College Board of Trustees since 2005, continues a family tradition of leadership and philanthropy. His father was an early donor to the College in the 1970s and served on the Board of Trustees from 1985-2017. Brian and Michelle have carried that philanthropic legacy forward through the Brian and Michelle Wilson Endowed Scholarship and the Jeri and Jack Wilson Endowed Scholarship for Women’s Tennis. Their gift to name the Jeri Wilson Women’s Tennis Coach’s Office underscores their enduring commitment to Flagler and its athletics programming.
