Flagler College proudly announces its 2023-2024 public lecture series lineup. This series includes nationally recognized journalists and commentators through the Forum on Government and Public Policy and renowned religious scholars as part of the Cecil and Gene Usdin Judeo-Christian lecture series.

The Gargoyle, Flagler’s student-run newspaper, placed in two categories for the Society of Professional Journalists 2022 Sunshine State Awards and was a finalist in five categories for the 2022 SPJ Region 3 Mark of Excellence Awards.

Flagler’s newest class is mighty in numbers, talent and optimism.

Last week, campus came to life again as we greeted three classes of returning students and 906 new faces to Flagler.

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum will kick off the Fall 2020 season with a solo exhibition by M. Florine Démosthène, entitled “Always in All Ways.” The exhibition will be on view from Sep. 6 through Oct. 22, 2022 and will include twelve new mixed media works on paper and new sculptures. Démosthène will give a walkthrough of the exhibition in conjunction with First Friday Art Walk on Friday, Oct. 20th at 5 p.m.

Two convocation ceremonies welcomed Flagler’s class of 2026 to campus Tuesday.

On the 58th anniversary of a Civil Rights sit-in that took place at the Hotel Ponce de Leon, students, faculty, staff and community leaders unveiled a marker at Flagler College commemorating the significance of that day.
