Flagler College is poised to make key investments in its future, thanks to a $12 million, 3-1 matching gift to be paid over four years from the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust. This gift marks the largest single donation to Flagler College since its inception.

Family members beamed with pride and the air was filled with excitement as more than 500 graduates processed into the St. Augustine Amphitheater to the familiar sound of pomp and circumstance on Monday, May 9th.

The first Earth Day celebration was held on April 22, 1970, to recognize the modern environmental movement. In 2012, Flagler alum Stephanie Garrison was a history major studying abroad in the UK. She traveled around England, the Republic of Ireland, and Scotland with her peers for two weeks, taking in the rich history across the pond. Of all the places they visited, Stephanie instantly fell in love with Scotland and knew she had to return.
