Once an exclusive and opulent playground for the world's most privileged elite, the grounds of Flagler College today offer one of the most unique and charming wedding and banquet facilities in the Southeast.
The venues' versatility and elegance make them an ideal site for wedding receptions, galas, parties, and dinners. Available dates are based on the student academic calendar. Open dates are mostly between late May and early August and late December to early January.
Our campus is so loved that the following venues are fully booked until 2025.

Ponce de León Grand Ballroom
Ponce de León Grand Ballroom
Highlighting the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de León, the Ponce de León Grand Ballroom is considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture.
The ballroom is surrounded by Tiffany stained glass windows, murals by George W. Maynard, and lavishly carved wooden columns.
Maximum Capacity:
- 400 strolling reception
- 350 seated dinner with rental tables
- 300 seated dinner with a small dance floor
- 250 seated dinner with a large dance floor
Dates available: late May through early August and late December through early January.
Ponce de León Solarium
Ponce de León Solarium
The newly restored Solarium offers one of the best views of historic downtown St. Augustine.
The domed, sunlit main room overlooks the Courtyard, and the Terraces offer views of Memorial Presbyterian Church, the City Plaza, the Cathedral Basilica, the beaches, and the lighthouse.
Maximum Capacity:
- Between 80-120
Dates available: Throughout the year on pre-selected weekends, and mid-week during summer and winter months.
Ponce de León Rotunda
Ponce de León Rotunda
Ponce de Leon’s lobby can transform into a breathtaking, gold-leafed, ornate venue for an indoor ceremony and reception.
On the second-floor mezzanine, your guests can dine and dance in the same space. Take advantage of the dome’s acoustics with a string quartet to fill the space with a romantic atmosphere.
Maximum Capacity:
- 120 indoor ceremony
- 130 seated dinner on the mezzanine
- 150 strolling reception
Dates available: May through early August and late December through early January.
Markland House
Markland House
Originally built amid an orange grove, Markland House is a spacious and refined estate home with all the charm of the Old South.
You'll walk through the picket fence and up the front garden, where you'll meet a wrap-around porch surrounded by Greek Revival-style columns. This beautiful house is on the National Register of Historic Places and offers four interior rooms perfect for any occasion.
Maximum capacity:
- 150 outdoor ceremony
- 60-72 seated indoor dinner
- 30 indoor ceremony and seated dinner
- 150 strolling indoor and outdoor reception. (Consider adding a tent and string lighting!)
Dates Available: Throughout the year on pre-selected weekends and fully available during the summer and winter breaks.
Crisp-Ellert Art Museum
Crisp-Ellert Art Museum
The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, as it stands today, is Joann Crisp-Ellert’s expanded former studio. The space is used to exhibit important cultural and historical exhibitions throughout the academic year.
This two-room venue has beautiful tiled floors, wood beam cathedral ceilings, and two outdoor gardens. The Elliptical Garden is often used for an outdoor tented reception or ceremony.
Maximum Capacity
- 125 strolling reception
- 80-90 seated dinner
- 70 indoor ceremony
- 140 outdoor ceremony
- Room for a 40-foot-by-20-foot pole tent in the Elliptical Garden
