Becoming a Sponsor

Dear Patron:

I am delighted to enclose sponsorship information for Flagler College’s Science Week 2026 to be held April 26-29, 2026.

Science Week 2026 is a series of events for our students and community members to participate in and learn about the sciences at Flagler College. They include a keynote speaker and reception featuring Gen Anderson (St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park), a nature cleanup, a citizen’s science boat field experience, an Arbor Day tree planting, student class showcase, and Bermuda ecology documentary & Champagne reception. Science Week will conclude with over 100 people attending the marquis event, the Senior Capstone Symposium and Poster Presentations, showcasing our students and their research in the tremendously popular Biology and Coastal Environmental Science (CES) programs at Flagler College.

The Natural Sciences program is strongly grounded in experiential learning and undergraduate research. As these programs continue to gain popularity (there were more than 500 applications for the new Biology major for Spring 2025!) the department has seen a significant and rapid need for additional resources to support more science faculty, a science modular laboratory, costly equipment and academic scholarships in order to meet the student needs.

Sponsorships will provide funding with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Natural Sciences program. Science Week 2026 will showcase research being conducted by our faculty and students, grow awareness of the Flagler sciences in the community, and raise financial support for the popular and growing science program. It promises to be an educational and enriching experience.

We hope you will join other distinguished sponsors in supporting this year’s Science Week. Opportunities for sponsorships are enclosed for your consideration. Should you have any questions, please contact Nicole D. Pece, Director of Development and Gift Planning, at (904) 819-6406 or NPece@flagler.edu.

Thank you, in advance, for your consideration and support!

Sincerely,

Nicole D. Pece

Director of Development and Gift Planning.
