Program Requirements

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design gives you the power to choose your educational experience with extra electives.

Get practical experience with an internship. Develop a professional-level portfolio. Conduct undergraduate research during a thesis project.  You'll come out powerfully prepared for professional practice and prepared to lead.

Our faculty will also encourage you to submit studio projects to design competitions, like the AIGA Jacksonville Portfolio Review and the American Advertising Federation's ADDY Awards. You can connect with our creative community through the AIGA Flagler College Chapter (find them here in Saints Connect.)

Opportunities Beyond the Classroom

Joining this program will allow you the opportunity to step away from the campus and make connections all around the country. For example, the New York Study Away program is an annual 3-day, 4-night trip to New York City held during Spring Break.

Faculty lead students on a tour of the city’s major museums, special exhibitions, galleries, and on scheduled visits with working designers, artists, and museum professionals. The trip is great for students in Graphic Design, Fine Art, and Art History to help discover and explore future career pathways.
