Our Theatre Arts program is for passionate people ready to explore performance deeply. When you join us, you'll journey into all areas of theatre because we believe in educating the full theatre artist.
A core aspect of the program involves community and collaboration, which you'll be part of and extend to other like-minded students within and outside the program. You'll also be prepared for a successful career both onstage and off in various aspects of theatre and production.

By being part of the Theatre Arts program, you'll not only gain experience in learning the ins and outs of theatre productions, you'll also receive guidance and experience from full-time faculty who will teach you about professionalism and collaboration within the industry. Learn high-end professional design elements and experiment with various performing arts, which will help educate you as a full theatre artist. When you earn your bachelor's in Theatre Arts, you'll be exposed to all areas of theatre:
- Performance (acting, dance, singing)
- Design (scenic, lighting, make-up & costume)
- Theatre technology
- Directing
- Literature
- History
You'll also get to expand beyond classes in your major with different elective courses in Core, our groundbreaking general education program.

Over spring break, while many college students opted for rest and relaxation, Flagler College students packed their bags and headed north - not for vacation, but for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Performing Arts Department at Flagler College achieved remarkable recognition for its production of "Streetlight Woodpecker" at the prestigious Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF).
