Forwarding Your Phone

To forward your phone, pick up the phone, wait for the dial tone, and dial the following codes to forward or unforward your phone as needed:

Press *2 - Forward your calls to an extension or external number

For extensions, just dial the extension. A few beeps will confirm that your calls are forwarded.
For external numbers, dial 9, then the country code, area code, and rest of the number. A few beeps will confirm that your calls are forwarded.

Press #2 - Unforward your calls from an extension or external number
Press *3 - Forward your calls to your voicemail box
Press #3 - Unforward your calls from your voicemail box

Voice Mail

To dial into voice mail internally, dial 360.
To dial into voice mail externally, dial 904-819-6360.

Checking Voicemail Messages for Another Extension

  1. Dial into the voice mail system.
  2. Press *, then #.
  3. Enter the extension of the mailbox for which you would like to check the voicemail messages.

Changing Your Voicemail Password

  1. Dial into the voicemail system.
  2. Select option 5. (If you listen to the menu options, option 5 is not one of the options that you will be given.  It is a hidden option, but you can still select it.)
  3. Select option 4.
  4. The system will prompt you to enter a password.  Passwords can be between 4 and 16 digits long.  It is extremely important that you change your password from the default.  If you do not, it will be possible for others to access your voicemail messages. If you do not know your default voicemail password, call Technology Services at extension 293.

Setting Up Your Voicemail Greeting

  1. Dial into the voice mail system.
  2. Select option 3.
  3. Follow the prompts.  If you do not record a greeting, the automatic system greeting will be used: the caller will hear the system voice say "Your call is being answered by Audix.  [YOUR NAME] is not available.  To leave a message, wait for the tone."

Recording Your Name for Voicemail

  1. Dial into the voice mail system.
  2. Select option 5. (If you listen to the menu options, option 5 is not one of the options that you will be given.  It is a hidden option, but you can still select it.)
  3. Select option 5 again.
  4. The system will prompt you to record your name.  (If you do not record your name, the system will speak your name.)

Locating an Extension

  1. Press the "Menu" button on your phone, located beneath the digital screen.
  2. Press the button above "Menu," with the word "Dir" appearing above it on the digital screen.
  3. Enter the first 3 digits of the last name of the person you wish to reach.
  4. Make note of the extension number that appears.
  5. Press the "Exit" button to the right of the "Menu" button.
  6. Dial the extension you noted.
