Raphael Saliba
Professional Profile
Raphael has been teaching at Flagler College since 2001. He has also taught Applied Saxophone at Jacksonville University and served as the director of Jacksonville University’s Wind Ensemble.
A veteran of the United States Navy Music Program, Dino (as he likes to be called) has performed throughout Eastern Europe as a member of the Sixth Fleet Band located in Naples, Italy. His performances during his Navy career include concerts with ceremonial bands, rock bands, wind ensembles, jazz bands, and numerous chamber ensembles.
He holds a Master of Music Education Degree from Arkansas State University and he has done doctoral studies in Music Education at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
An active musician, Dino currently performs with numerous bands in and around Jacksonville, FL playing jazz and rock to enthusiastic crowds. He resides with his wife Mitzi, and lives in Jacksonville, FL with their six dogs.
