Marty LaFica

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Marty has since called several cities home, including Orlando, Florida, and Phoenix, Arizona. His background and experiences across the country have helped shape his passion for storytelling, communications and community engagement.

Marty’s career has largely centered on sports communications. He joined Flagler College after working with the Arnold Palmer Group in Orlando for three years, where he supported social media efforts for the PGA TOUR’s Arnold Palmer Invitational. Prior to that role, he served as an athletics communications assistant at Jacksonville University, gaining hands-on experience in media relations, content creation and event coverage.

Outside of work, Marty enjoys spending time on the golf course and taking care of his Australian Shepherd, Magnolia.
