Retired after more than 30 years of active duty in the U.S. Army as a Colonel, Field Artillery/Foreign Area Officer (Latin America/Western Europe). After retirement from the U.S. Army, served as a Senior Intelligence Officer for Latin America at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
