Professional Profile
Dr. Brad Rowe holds a PhD in Philosophy and History of Education from Ohio State University. With faculty experience in education departments at both public research universities and private liberal arts colleges, Dr. Rowe has worked with a variety of students and educational professionals, including higher education faculty and staff, academic scholars, public and private K-12 teachers and administrators, and pre-service teachers.
Dr. Rowe directs Flagler’s Institute for Classical Education, which implements programming that facilitates classical and liberal education and supports the professional development of classical educators throughout Florida. Advancing the liberal arts through programs that connect Flagler’s faculty with K-12 classical teachers is a particularly rewarding aspect of his work at the Institute. As a liberal arts institution, Flagler is a tremendous resource for Florida’s classical schools and is uniquely positioned to offer a one-of-a-kind classical education experience that speaks to the historic, cultural, and artistic features of the College, St. Augustine, and Florida.
