Flagler College is elevating its academic offerings with the introduction of its Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program. This cost-effective, advanced degree is tailored for professionals seeking career advancement.

A group of Flagler College Graphic Design students were recognized for their creative marketing and advertising coursework by the Jacksonville chapter of the American Advertising Awards this week with nine of them taking home awards for their submissions.

Each year Flagler celebrates the College’s founders: visionaries who established the institution and laid groundwork for Flagler’s continued success.

Since its inception in 2005, Flagler College’s Communication Week has woven itself into the fabric of campus life. Spearheaded by former Flagler professor Rosemary Tutt, this tradition was born with the purpose of bridging the gap for students in St. Augustine, granting them access to the same networking opportunities enjoyed by their counterparts in larger institutions and bustling metropolises.

Flagler College alum Abigale Kreinheder was awarded a grant from the Pulitzer Center to research the production of Kopi Luwak coffee in Indonesia, a research trip that soon became a formative life experience.

Every day that alumnus Jacob Harding (‘07) works with students, he channels the “wisdom, kindness, and compassion,” which retired Professor Steve Voguit shared generously every chance he could.

“Have you ever been laid off?” Sophomore Jacob Goldman, clad in suit and tie, asked a judges panel of business leaders. "It's terrifying to get that hand on your shoulder- the boss needs to see you...it’s almost like you know what’s coming. But what if you actually did?”

Flagler College’s Institute for Classical Education, which recently hired Director Bradley Rowe, is excited to announce the appointment of Senior Research Fellow Robert L. Jackson, Ph.D. Jackson was welcomed into this role last month, January of 2024, and facilitated the Institute’s most recent Saturday Seminar on Jan. 20 titled, “Fostering Wonder.”

Flagler College is proud to announce the establishment of the Center for Religion and Culture to promote the interdisciplinary study of religion and foster interfaith dialogue on campus and among residents of Northeast Florida.
