Flagler College and the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum (CEAM) look forward to our bi-annual exhibition of work by Fine Art B.F.A. and B.A. candidates as well as Graphic Design candidates from the Department of Visual Art.

Free and open to the public, this night of Visual Art exhibitions on Thursday, Dec. 7 will be accompanied by a live DJ, food, and refreshments on the lawn area in front of the Crisp-Ellert Art Musuem (CEAM). The B.A. Graphic Design Portfolio exhibition will be held in the Brown Innovation Center (50 Sevilla) from 6 to 8 p.m. Nextdoor, the B.F.A. and B.A. Senior Portfolio exhibitions will take place in the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum (48 Sevilla Street) from 5 to 8 p.m. The fine art portfolio exhibitions will also be on view during the museum’s regular business hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 8.

Over the course of the semester, students in the Department of Visual Art have created a singular body of work, or group of artworks, putting into artistic practice the foundational, methodological, and conceptual frameworks they’ve studied during their time in the programs.

Fall 2019 Graphic Design portfolio show

The Graphic Design Portfolio exhibition features the outstanding work of seven talented seniors, each presenting a diverse showcase of design portfolios cultivated throughout their undergraduate studies. These emerging designers have honed their skills in various artistic domains, including branding, advertising, interactive media, packaging, environmental design, and illustration.

This semester the Graphic Design capstone was led by Diana Lodi, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design. The B.A. Graphic Design Portfolio exhibition features designers, Klara Acierno, Gabriella Boyle, Tiffani House, Elizabeth Marino, Rae Marie Parsons, Rochellie Rodriguez-Colon, and Elizabeth Southers.

The Fine Art capstone courses were guided by Leslie Robison, Professor of Art and Dean for the School of Creative Arts and Letters. The bodies of work to be presented by the students are in conversation with broad contemporary art themes, and encompasses painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, book arts, and installation. This semester’s B.F.A. candidate is Veronica Webber. The B.A. Portfolio exhibition will include a wide variety of work by artists including Heidi Dinius, Bradley Edmonds, Django Flores, Laura Glassman, Kate Jenkins, Jana Klinger, Claire Loftus, Jessica Lubbers, Sophie Miki, Gracie Mitchell, Lindsey Murray, Anna Kate Radford, and Mariah Torres.
