The storm may be over, but now is the time to check in with yourself, friends, and family.

This week, students from Flagler’s Deaf Awareness Club worked with faculty and staff to celebrate International Week of the Deaf with education, activities and fellowship.

This fall, Flagler College is proud to host a one-day conference, “Panama and its Indigenous People,” as a part of National Hispanic Heritage month on Oct. 15 across various campus locations. The conference is coordinated by Dr. Eugenia Charoni, associate professor of romance languages at Flagler.

When Associate Professor of History, Kelly Enright, first started teaching at Flagler ten years ago, her hope was that one day she could find a hands-on approach to educating her students about the past. Passionate about the many stories St. Augustine’s past holds, she was inspired to develop a way for her students to creatively engage with this history.

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum will kick off the Fall 2020 season with a solo exhibition by M. Florine Démosthène, entitled “Always in All Ways.” The exhibition will be on view from Sep. 6 through Oct. 22, 2022 and will include twelve new mixed media works on paper and new sculptures. Démosthène will give a walkthrough of the exhibition in conjunction with First Friday Art Walk on Friday, Oct. 20th at 5 p.m.

Flagler College Forum on Government and Public Policy will present a lecture delivered by National Review Staff Writer and conservative voice, Nate Hochman on Thursday, Sep. 8, 2022, at 7 p.m. in the Lewis Auditorium. His presentation will explore the question, “What is the Future of Conservatism?”
