It was a viral video of a chimpanzee named Vanilla seeing the sky for the first time that captured the hearts of Americans, and helped Flagler College alumnus Dr. Andrew Halloran, '95, raise awareness about the plight of animals kept in labs and cages for most of their lives.

Between April 3 and 4, 2,062 donors contributed to Flagler College's sixth annual Roar and Raise Giving Challenge, raising a recordbreaking $1,557,589 in support of the College's people, programs, and places.
