This week, students from Flagler’s Deaf Awareness Club worked with faculty and staff to celebrate International Week of the Deaf with education, activities and fellowship.

The Gargoyle, Flagler’s student-run newspaper, placed in two categories for the Society of Professional Journalists 2022 Sunshine State Awards and was a finalist in five categories for the 2022 SPJ Region 3 Mark of Excellence Awards.

Flagler’s newest class is mighty in numbers, talent and optimism.

Two convocation ceremonies welcomed Flagler’s class of 2026 to campus Tuesday.

Ambassador John Rood has been elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Flagler College and Viv Andrew Helwig, ’08, CEO of Vested Metals International was selected for the board. Rood succeeds Rick Groux ’79, who served in the role for the last three years.

Flagler College and the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum (CEAM) are pleased to announce a $60,000, two-year grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to strengthen programming and provide emerging and mid-career artists with additional resources to inspire and produce new bodies of work.

Three inspiring Flagler College alumni were recognized during the 21st Annual Alumni Awards Luncheon in the areas of service and professional achievement.
