Transfer Student FAQs

Welcome

Considering a transfer? At Flagler College, we extend a warm invitation to you to become part of our close-knit academic community, where your individual aspirations and experiences are valued, and your path to growth and success is uniquely supported.

Transfer FAQs

We generally admit A.A. holders at the junior level. If you've earned your A.A., your core requirements will be considered satisfied.

  • 75 from a four-year college/university
  • 64 from a junior or community college

  • Transfer students are admitted on a rolling basis — i.e., there’s no fixed application deadline for the Fall or Spring terms.
  • That said, we recommend completing your application no later than June 1 for fall admission or Nov. 1 for spring admission.

  • No, transfer credit grades are not used for your Flagler College grade point average (GPA).
  • If you received a grade of “C” or better, your credits will generally transfer.
  • Students who have completed their A.A. degree may transfer up to three courses in which a “D” grade was earned.

Along with an application & an official transcript from each institution attended, we ask transfer applicants to submit SAT/ACT scores in cases where:

  • You haven’t completed one (1) non-remedial transferrable English course and one (1) non-remedial transferrable Math course when you submit your application.
  • You don’t have at least 24 transferrable credit hours completed at the time of application submission. In that case, you’ll also need to provide a copy of your final high school transcript with your application.

Anna Moore, our Pre-Enrollment Advisor, will be happy to answer any questions about your transfer credits.
