Academic Onboarding

We are so excited to have you join our Saints Community! The guidelines outlined below will help you academically prepare for your arrival.

A Guide To Your Academic Onboarding

Technology Services will send your login information to your personal email.

Please log in to both your Flagler email and MyFlagler accounts as soon as you receive this information. Once your Flagler email is activated, all official college communication will be sent there.

Be sure to check your spam or junk folder during this transition to avoid missing important messages.

If you misplace your login information, contact Technology Services at support@flagler.edu or call (904) 819-6293.

All new first-year and transfer students must complete the math placement process before registering for classes.

You will receive math placement instructions and a test link in your personal email. Complete the process as soon as possible—you cannot enroll in classes until this requirement is met.

If you have completed a college-level math course in the Algebra sequence (College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus), including through dual enrollment, you do not need to take the exam, but you must complete the survey at the beginning of the exam.

After this step is completed, the Mathematics Department will review your results and will send your placement to your advisor.

Transfer Students
Once math placement results are received and you are cleared to register, your CACE advisor will email you to schedule an advising appointment, where you will plan your fall course schedule and discuss any questions or help you need to prepare for your first semester at Flagler.

First-Year Students
After math placement results are received, you will receive a class schedule survey from CACE. Your responses allow advisors to create a personalized schedule that aligns with your academic plan and preferences.

Advisors from the Center for Advising and Core Experience (CACE) will build and release schedules according to the timeline below. On your assigned date, you will receive instructions for viewing your schedule and connecting with your advisor to discuss questions or request adjustments.

Note: Schedules will not be created until both the math placement test and CACE schedule survey are completed.

Please send your final transcript to the Office of Admissions.

Did you earn college credit?

If you earned college credit through dual enrollment, please request an official transcript from the college where you completed the courses.

Students who took Dual Enrollment courses through a College/University must send all official transcripts to the Office of Admissions for review. Please note we cannot award transfer credit from a high school transcript. These transcripts can typically be requested through the College/University Registrar’s Office. If the school offers official electronic transcripts, those can be sent to admissions@flagler.edu.

Mailed transcripts should be addressed to:
Office of Admissions
Flagler College
74 King St.
St. Augustine, FL 32084

Did you complete AP, IB, or AICE programs?

Request an official score report to be sent to admissions as well.

Some of this information is on your high school transcript, but we need separate documentation to give you college credit. Your advisor will consider these credits as they build your course schedule.

All official AP/IB/AICE test scores must be sent to the Office of Admissions as soon as they become available. Faxed or emailed score reports will not be accepted.

Mail to:
Office of Admissions
Flagler College
74 King St.
St. Augustine, FL 32084

If you have already sent in scores and need to know what credit you have been given, please email your admissions counselor.
