How to Mark a Message as Junk Mail

The more people who add the sender's email to junk mail, the better servers will be at blocking future spam messages.

  1. Right-click on the email you wish to mark as junk.
  2. In the right-click menu, click on "Junk E-mail."
  3. Select "Add Sender to Blocked Senders List."

All incoming messages from that address will go directly to your junk email folder.

What are "Spam" and "Phishing" Emails?

"Spam" emails solicit you to purchase products, usually by clicking suspicious links.

"Phishing" emails are emails that attempt to gain access to your username and password, either through a web form, by directly asking you for your username and password, by trying to install malicious software, by scaring you into thinking your emails will be deleted if you do not comply, etc.
