Email App Setup

Here you will find basic instructions for setting up your email app (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone, Android phone, etc.):

Set Up Email Using the Outlook Mail App

  1. Download the Microsoft Outlook app on the App Store.
  2. Open the Outlook app on your iOS device.
  3. Select Add Account to add one of your existing email accounts, or Create New Account if you want to create a new Microsoft account.
  4. If you select Add Account, enter your email address and follow the prompts to authenticate the account.
  5. Outlook may detect and pre-select your email account. Tap Continue to add that account or tap Skip to enter the email address of a different account, and then enter your password and follow the prompts.
  6. If multi-factor authentication is enabled for your email account, follow the instructions to verify the account.
  7. If you select Create New Account, follow the prompts to create the new Microsoft account.

Set Up Email in the Android Email App

  1. Download the Microsoft Outlook App via the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the Outlook for Android app on your Android device.
  3. Select Add Account to add one of your existing email accounts, or Create New Account if you want to create a new Microsoft account.
  4. If you select Add Account, enter your email address and follow the prompts to authenticate the account.
  5. Outlook may detect and pre-select your email account. Tap Continue to add that account, or tap Skip this account to enter the email address of a different account, and then enter your password and follow the prompts.
  6. If multi-factor authentication is enabled for your email account, follow the instructions to verify the account.
  7. If you select Create New Account, follow the prompts to create the new Microsoft account.
