Assistant Professor of Business Administration; Social Entrepreneurship Program Director

Paula Seymour is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Social Entrepreneurship Program Director at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Paula encourages socially and environmentally conscious entrepreneurs and business leaders to consider a circular economic approach that embraces the triple bottom line. She inspires compassionate and conscious leaders to create prosperous and inclusive ‘life economies’ through spiritual decision-making, embodying conscious leadership for systems change, regeneration, and organizational renewal.

Paula earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and has a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Women, Gender, Spirituality, and Social Justice. Paula also completed her Ph.D. in Religion with a focus on Women’s Spirituality in 2023. Her academic research explores women, gender, spirituality, gender-based violence, and environmental and social justice.

Teaching

Paula Seymour is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration and is the program director for the Social Entrepreneurship Major.  Her primary areas of teaching are management and entrepreneurship. Paula joined the Department of Business Administration at Flagler College in 2001 and since that time has taught over 17 different courses. In addition to her teaching and service to the College, Paula is active in the local community as a business consultant as well as an active community volunteer.
