Nicole Pece

Nicole is the Director of Development and Gift Planning, where she works with alumni, parents, friends, and community members here in St. Augustine and around the country. In her current role, she focuses on securing major gifts and serves as a contact for people interested in learning about planned gifts (bequests, IRA Rollover, beneficiary designations, estate plans) and members of the Henry M. Flagler Heritage Society. She serves as the liaison to the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences (Departments of Behavioral Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics/Technology and Natural Sciences) and oversees the Science Advisory Board.  

Nicole initially started working at Flagler College in 1996 as the Director of Student Housing. She subsequently moved into Institutional Advancement, where she held positions including Director of Annual Giving, Capital Giving Officer, and Assistant Director of Development. Through these experiences, she developed her passion for fundraising while creating opportunities to positively impact Flagler College’s people, places and programs.

Having served the College for 16 years, she left to pursue a position as Director of Development at the University of North Florida for the Carpenter Library and the College of Education and Human Services. She also served as the Development Director for the Betty Griffin Center (Safety Shelter of St. Johns County).   In 2019, she returned to the Flagler College team as Director of Major and Planned Gifts.   Nicole holds a B.A. in psychology from Boston College and a MAT in elementary education from Jacksonville University.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys traveling, walking on the beach, and spending time with her husband, daughter (a Flagler grad), son and their Beagle.
