Deborah Thompson

Deborah Thompson assumed the role of Vice President of Enrollment Management at Flagler College in March 2014. As the Vice President of Enrollment Management, she is responsible for developing strategy, policies and procedures for recruitment and retention of students.  Prior to her appointment at Flagler College, Ms. Thompson served as the Vice President for Enrollment Management, Marketing & Communications at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC from 2011-2014. Ms. Thompson also served as Vice President for Enrollment Management & Student Services at Stetson University in Deland, FL from 2001 to 2011.  Ms. Thompson served as Dean of Admissions & Financial Aid as well as Associate Director of Admissions and Director of Financial Aid at Emory & Henry College in Emory, VA from 1989-2001. Ms. Thompson worked in pharmaceutical sales from 1987-1989 for Beecham Laboratories. Ms. Thompson holds a B.A. degree with Cum Laude Honor in Accounting and Business Management from Emory & Henry College in Emory, Virginia and her M.A. degree in Counseling and Human Development with an emphasis in Higher Education from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.
